Denmark wins Nordic Council's Literature Prize, Film Prize and Nature and Environment Prize

Denmark excelled at this year’s distribution of the Nordic Council Prizes, which took place at the Opera House in Oslo on 30 October 2013, by taking three of the five distributed prizes.

The Danish-Norwegian author Kim Leine received the Literature Prize for his novel “Profeterne i Evighedsfjorden” (Gyldendal 2012), the Danish film “The Hunt” (“Jagten”) directed by Thomas Vinterberg received the Film Prize and the Danish consumer movement “Stop Wasting Food” established by Danish Selina Juul received the Nature and Environment Prize.

Alll prizes are rewarded DKK 350,000 (a bit less than 50.000 euro) each.
