Energy Show 2018

Based on a successful participation with three Danish companies last year, the Danish Embassy would like to invite you to participate in the Energy Show 2018. We see the potential to attract even more attention to this year's Energy Show.
Experience from participation in previous trade shows has shown that participation as part of the Danish Pavilion is a strong draw for the Irish companies.

The expo takes place on 18th-19th April 2018 in Dublin and is held by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). The exhibition will give you an insight into the development and opportunities of the Irish market for renewable energy and energy efficiency. In addition, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with the largest Irish actors and energy companies in the area.

Ireland is facing major investments in green transition in order for the country to reach its climate targets for 2020 and 2030. As part of this, the Irish government launched a 15-year strategic plan in 2015 to replace fossil fuels with sustainable energy solutions in the Irish energy sector.
In addition, Ireland has a great potential and desire to develop the renewable energy sector. There are therefore good opportunities for Danish companies that can offer strong competencies and innovative solutions in renewable energy, energy efficiency, as well as energy storage and transmission.

The Energy Show had over 5,500 visitors in 2017, which is a 17% increase from 2016. It is an obvious entry to the Irish energy market for Danish companies that are interested in expanding their network and connecting with key players in the industry.

Feedback from attending this and other fairs has been that the Danish Pavilion has attracted a lot of interest, as Denmark is known for a strong green transition, high quality and strong innovative products. Several of the Irish companies and actors therefore went specifically after the embassy's pavilion in 2017.

In addition to the stand, the Embassy will, through local knowledge and experience, as well as the use of the Embassy's strong network, arrange two meetings with industry experts, companies or other relevant parties to provide insight into opportunities and barriers for your product on the Irish market. If you have specific wishes, it is also possible to add additional meetings.

Participants will arrange transport and lodging themselves. SAS, Norwegian and Ryanair have daily direct flights between Copenhagen and Dublin, or with a stop in UK, Germany or the Netherlands.

The Deadline for registration is Monday 19th February 2018.
